kLL sMTH (of Majestic Entertainment) released “Telescopic Future” on Addictech.com this past Monday, June 16th. This 4-track album is future glitch-hop at its finest as these labyrinthine triggers and designs of forthcoming sounds will sooth you as a whole, both mentally and physically, it’ll bring forth a Telescopic Future. Kristoffer Edland, a Loveland, Colorado native, has been producing music for nearly six years now. I discovered kLL sMTH’s glitch soundscapes in 2012 as a friend introduced me to him and soon after I experienced a fresh live set at a small gathering in Austin, TX we held a couple months later called Alloveus. These frequencies from outer space are designed to take you far beyond a galactic future, a place of the unimaginable. These sounds create a crystalline structure, they tell the story of growth, an evolution of sound, an innovative mindset, illumination of change.
“Telescopic Future” consists of four well-crafted auditory glitch hop cosmos sure to clear and cleanse: “Oragami Peanut”, “Transcendent Delusion”, “Telescopic Future”, & “Katzenjammer”. “Oragami Peanut” is an art of sound which foreshadows the rest of the album. Like an Origami, it reveals jaw dropping technique and design, an ethereal escape full of glitch and whomps, which blend symmetrically and rhythmically within the illuminations of lively melodies. “Transcendent Delusion” is a mystical dream escape, a dream within a dream, a step into a reality check and back into an ancient-alien pyramid; full spectrum. This downtempo, glitch-ed out delight is very luscious with fresh vibes. “Telescopic Future” took me on a parallel dimension, its organic frequencies will enter your being and leave you feeling refreshed as in the aftermath of a spiritual psilocybin journey. Soothing flute-esque instrumentation will relax your brain waves. “Katzenjammer” is an otherworldly crystal quartz. A never ending sonic sunset of kaleidoscopic glitch twirls for your ear pineals. Elegant and driven composition in effect.

His soundscapes mesh very well with that of Tipper’s vibe, a limitless technicolor imagination of glitch wonders enabling telepathic sound communication. From having played countless festivals and shows in the Mid West, West, and South, and having past releases on Simplify Recordings, Muti Music, and Prime Dub, he is, without a doubt, gaining a rapid momentum. Kris is really an innovator thinker when it comes to producing music. Each melody creates its own story, it’s like he’s fitting the pieces together to a seemingly endless experience, it’s like he’s communicating with aliens.
